Alejandro Mozqueda Torres is a Mexican-Canadian Senior animator and Animation Supervisor with over two decades of experience in keyframe animation and motion capture across live-action film (VFX), television, and AAA video games.
Originally from Mexico, Alejandro relocated to Canada in 2005 to study Animation Art & Design at the Art Institute of Vancouver. Since then he has worked in film, TV, gameplay, and cinematic animation at studios including Sony PlayStation, Electronic Arts, The Coalition (Microsoft), Digital Domain, Zoic, and MPC, to name a few.
He is now Head of the Animation Department at Rooxter Films. As Animation Supervisor on The Seahorse Trainer, his work earned 13 festival awards, including LEO Awards and the Jury Award in Animation at the Seattle International Film Festival — a qualifying win for 2020 Academy Award consideration.
